Logos Hope lays bogus ‘Hambantota Port can’t take ships’ claims to rest

The floating cultural and book exhibition vessel Logos Hope sailed and docked at the Magampura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port last week for the benefit of the public. The ship, which has been in Sri Lanka for over a month, called at Colombo Port and Galle Port before making her final call at Hambantota. Hundreds of people in the south visited the ship. Here the Daily FT captured the Logos Hope berthed at Hambantota Port, a development which SLPA said laid to rest bogus claims that ships cannot call at the new port
