Middle East cargo leader links up with Delmege Air Services

Delmege Air Services (Pvt) Ltd, a member of the Delmege Forsyth Group announced their appointment as the Cargo General Sales Agent (CGSA) in Sri Lanka and the Maldives for Mahan Air, one of the best cargo carriers in the Middle East.

Based out of Iran, Mahan Air has been selected as the “Best Cargo Carrier – Middle East” by Cargo News Asia and at the Asian Freight Awards.  The new partnership cements the position of Delmege Air Services as one of the premier providers of cargo and freight forwarding services in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and gives Sri Lankan entrepreneurs access to the Middle East’s most important trading destinations.

Effective on 8 February this year, Delmege Air Services will be connecting shipments from Bandaranaike International Airport as an offline service and connecting to Mahan Air through the cargo carrier’s online stations in Dubai, Delhi, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. This will give Sri Lankan exporters access to Mahan Air’s strategically important route network, which spans 28 destinations in 12 countries, including locations in East Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe. Mahan Air’s modern fleet comprises    29 Airbus A300-600, A310-300 and three Boeing 747 aircraft ensuring that precious cargo reaches their relevant destinations safely and swiftly.
