MV Eurydice D the mega bulk carrier called Magam Ruhunupura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port (MRMRP) in Hambantota on 14 July 2014 for bunkering. So far this is the longest vessel that called the port. The LOA of the vessel is 289.98 metres. The vessel from Krishnapatnam Port, in India called for bunkering and loaded 1400 MT of 380 CST marine fuel at MRMRP. The next port of call of the vessel is South Africa.
Since the inauguration of bunker operations at MRMRP on 22 June 2014 MRMRP has received seven vessel calls namely, MV OEL Colombo, MV New Castle Max, MV Antonia S, MV Mohar, MV Diamond T, MV JBU Forth and the latest being MV Eurydice D for bunkering at the port.
