NYK recognised for customer service

At the 18th annual awards ceremony of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers UK – Sri Lanka branch, held in conjunction with the 25th anniversary celebrations of the branch, NYK Line was once again recognised as the best in Customer service for Colombo/USA sector and in the Colombo/Australasia sector for the year 2011.NYK Lines retained the Colombo/USA customer service award for the eighth consecutive year.

The service levels of top ten carriers of each trade lane in terms of market share, was gauged through a comprehensive questionnaire by an independent surveying body and the results were announced at a gala ceremony at the Cinnamon Grand hotel by Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers – Sri Lanka branch on 10 February 2011.

The awards were presented by the longest standing Sri Lankan member of the Institute Karu Jayasuriya MP, and were received by Head of Sales Erange Wijesinghe and Manager – Import Sales Neil Wickremaratne on behalf of NYK Line Lanka (Pvt) Limited.
