Sarjak Container Lines appoints GAC Sri Lanka as exclusive agent

GAC Sri Lanka has been appointed as the sole authorised agent for multimodal transport operator Sarjak Container lines Ltd., handling all their shipping and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) activities in the country. Sarjak specialises in the door-to-door transportation of breakbulk and over dimensioned cargo (ODC) operating a fleet of self-owned containers including super racks, flat racks, open top, hard top and GP containers. As Sarjak’s appointed agent, GAC Sri Lanka will provide project logistics and freight forwarding as well as agency services from its offices in Colombo, Galle, Hambantota and Trincomalee, covering all ports in the country. Under the contract, GAC Sri Lanka will be the only authorised agent handling Sarjak cargoes. Part of the global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC Group, GAC Sri Lanka has a strong track-record of providing services for ODC and breakbulk shipments, using specialist equipment and CAD-drawing techniques to ensure the careful handling of wide load, oversized and project cargoes via road, rail, air and sea for a wide range of industries.
