‘SKY FIESTA’ 2013 to mark 101 years of Lankan aviation a success

The Ceylon Aviation Club (CAC) in collaboration with the Aviation Society of Dharmapala College has organized ‘Sky Fiesta’ a gathering of aviation lovers which was held on 07 December 2013 at Pannipitiya Dharmapala Vidyalaya from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. with the presence of Gen. Rohan Daluwatte, Chairman - Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka.
Our objectives were to celebrate the 101st year of Sri Lankan aviation industry, celebrate the World Civil Aviation day, gather all the aviation lovers in to a one place and enhance the Aviation subject and also our Ceylon Aviation Club etc.
A large number of invitees related to aviation industry, students from various schools and a general crowd nearly 2,000 were participated at this occasion.
SriLankan Airlines Ltd., Asian Aviation Center, Skyline Aviation, Sky Club and Viraj Fernando – Model Flyer have presented their stalls. Harsha Wijesooriya’s Flying Arena has conducted the main model flying show. Aspire Aviation was the main sponsor and Aviation voice web site took the platinum sponsorship for this event.
At the end of the event, prizes were given to the winners of the competitions conducted.
