SA War Ship At Clombo
South African Navy Ship Spioenkop arrived to Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit last week.
The Sri Lanka Navy accorded a traditional welcome upon its arrival at the Port of Colombo.
The valour class frigate Spioenkopis enroute to Goa to take part at the multinational naval exercise, IBSAMAR, involving the navies of India, Brazil and South Africa, after having participated at the International Fleet Review, hosted by the Indian Navy in Vishakhapatnam from 4 to 8 February.
SAS Spioenkop will stay in the island till 15 February and its crew is due to participate in several programs organised by the Sri Lanka Navy to strengthen mutual relations.
