SriLankan Airlines’ FlySmiLes partners with Mihin Lanka

FlySmiLes, the frequent flyer program of SriLankan Airlines, unveiled a new partnership agreement with Mihin Lanka recently. The partnership with Mihin will add more excitement and more destinations to the program for customers. FlySmiLes members can now earn miles on all Mihin Lanka flights. Miles can be accrued on all revenue tickets issued on Mihin scheduled flights.

Mihin Lanka (MJ) is the budget airline of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, operating from Colombo, and offers scheduled services to Trichy, Gaya , Varanasi, Dubai, Sharjah, Dhaka, Jakarta and Madurai.  It is also the only budget airline that serves complimentary refreshments.  

FlySmiLes members can now fly and earn miles flying to almost 123 destinations served by SriLankan and its partner airlines.

With our destination profile spreading out to a wider audience, we are glad to announce our partnership with SriLankan Airlines to offer their FlySmiLes Frequent Flyer members the opportunity to accumulate miles when they fly Mihin Lanka as well.”

Until the FFP systems integration is complete, FlySmiLes members are requested to retain their tickets and boarding cards, until the miles are credited to their account. Members can check on their mileage accruals at any time on line or by simply calling the FlySmiLes Service Centre on +94197333333. Miles can be claimed up to a period of six months of the original date of travel. Members will also be able to redeem their miles on Mihin Lanka operated flights before long.
