Thai Airways goes platinum

Introducing the Royal Orchid plus Platinum status, the new elite tier created for Thai’s “Most Valued Customers”. Platinum status is for very frequent flying members who travel with Thai exclusively in “Royal First Class”, and who are long standing “Gold Members.”

With the introduction of the new Platinum status programme, the members enjoy enhanced recognition and benefits when flying Thai.

The Platinum status includes unlimited complimentary upgrades that can also be transferred to award nominees, on achieving specified mileage thresholds. It provides members with top priority services before and after flights with Thai. More importantly it access to Royal First Class lounge with one guest totally unlike other airlines offer. In addition the programme does not expire during Platinum status tenure.

Those who are frequent flyers of Thai Airways their invitation will be delivered to join the elite of Thai’s travelers Platinum, which the airline said is truly a status to aspire to.

Thai’s award winning frequent flyer programme is amongst Asia’s most successful, offering travelers endless opportunities to earn generous miles and redeem awards.

The programme does not end only  with redeem awards on board, but it also enhances most of every Thai flight, every hotel stay, every car rental, and provides special deals from over 50 other travel partners.

Indicating to the strength of Thai Airways and simplicity, a surprise visit was made by the General Manager Lawit Sawadirak on board and handed over the First Platinum Programme to one of its frequent flyer member on his birthday.
