ZIM upgrade Asia-South America East Coast service

Zim has announced that starting mid-May 2013 they will upgrade their Asia, South America East Coast (ASE), jointly with Cosco and Evergreen deploying 8,500 TEU’s vessels. The service will call major ports in Asia and South America on the following rotation:  Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian - Hong Kong –Singapore - Santos - Paranagua - Montevideo - Buenos Aires – Rio Grande - Itapoa- Santos - Singapore - Hong Kong – Shanghai.

ASE offers a weekly, fixed-day service with excellent transit times, high schedule integrity and dedicated customer service. Shipping Vice President Rafael Ben-Ari said: “The upgrade of ASE is part of our ongoing strategic focus on the Latin American market, and our continued efforts to improve our services and respond to market needs.”
