Proposals in the Budget 2011 presented by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, according to CT Smith Stockbrokers are seen as largely pro-business, with certain sectors likely to benefit more than others. Emphasis seems to have been placed on promoting investment within the country, both by local and foreign investors.
