Princey Mangalika has known she is HIV positive for 10 years and is among the estimated 3,000 people who are infected in Sri Lanka.
The 51-year-old had a horrific experience in 2001 when she found out that HIV had been transferred by her husband who was a migrant worker for many years. The result was chaotic as Princey could do little to protect her family from the frightening social stigma that provoked her husband to commit suicide and their house to be burnt by irate villagers.
