Benku Ridma 2017, the variety entertainment in which performing artistes drawn from the banking profession came together to present a most enjoyable show of music, dance and drama was successfully concluded on last 18 February at Bishop’s College Auditorium.
This is the second Benku Ridma show staged by the Association of Professional Bankers Sri Lanka to give opportunity to show the artistic talent of selected bankers from 18 different banks.
Benku Ridma is yet another event organised by the Association of Professional Bankers Sri Lanka an organization representing banking professionals, established in 1988.The APB hopes to foster friendship and fellow feeling among the banking community and to enhance their aesthetic sense by this interbank talent show.
“It was well received by the audience and the feedback from the community was enormous,” said Shashi Kandambi Jassim, President of the APB Sri Lanka.
Sisira Kumara, Assistant Secretary and the Special Events Committee Chairman of the APB said that it was not an easy task to organise an event of this magnitude with the busy schedules of professional bankers, but we are truly happy that the APB was able to present a high quality concert which was appreciated by the audience.
