The launch of the Principles of Best Practice by the Colombo Stock Brokers Association (CSBA) last week was commended by both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) whilst broker community believes it will help in process towards creating a vibrant market.
The Principles of Best Practice (see box) by CSBA cover key areas such as professionalism, integrity, duties to clients, employer and disclosure of conflicts etc.
