Economy growing amidst global challenges, CB Chief tells Shippers’ Council AGM

Sri Lanka Shippers’ Council affiliated to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce held its 42nd AGM recently with Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Gehan Kuruppu stepped down as the Chairman of the Shippers’ Council after serving in the committee in the said capacity for two years. Dinesh De Silva assumed responsibility as the Chairman of Shippers Council whilst Sean Van Dort was elected as First Vice Chairman.
