Indian biz leaders in town to take part in Ceylon Chamber-led forum with Modi

Indian Business leaders attending the meeting at the CCC
A group of Indian business leaders, led by the Confederation of Indian Industry, is currently in Sri Lanka to attend the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce-organised business forum which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address.
The business forum will be held on 13 March 2015, starting at 5.00 p.m. in Colombo.
The Indian business leaders, who are already in the country, had a meeting at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening and are also expected to have one-on-one meetings with local business leaders.
They met with Chamber CEO/Secretary General Mangala P.B. Yapa, while Gayathri Gunaruwan, Chief Economist of the Chamber, was also present.
The Indian business delegation will explore opportunities in the areas of infrastructure, water supply, property development, sugar, irrigation and renewable energy among many others.
