The JASTECA Productivity Awards 2012 was held for the 17th consecutive year. The association stated that it was particularly pleased to see public sector service organisations winning the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and Kaizen awards, as the participating organisations displayed very high standards in implementing and sustaining 5S initiatives.
This could be directly attributed to their continued participation at the competition. The JASTECA awards ceremony indeed is a dream come true for JASTECA, as this competition was initiated with objective of popularising 5S practices in Sri Lanka.
