The Lions Club of Colombo West organised the 66th Independence Day Celebration which was held at Kent Road, Colombo 9 on Tuesday. Past 
District Governor Lion Neel Seneviratne hoisted the National Flag. President of the Colombo West Lions Club Lion S.B.C. Thassim, Dematagoda Police Officer in Charge Lalith Abeysekera, Dematagoda Sama Viharadipathi Ven. Kotiyagoda Aththadassi Thero, St Anthony’s Church Rev. Fr. Reginald Lucian, Shri Sithy Vinayakar Kovil Sivsiri Anuratha Sarma Kurukkal, Lions Regional Chairman Lion Thulitha Piyasena and members of the Lions Club were present at the ceremony.
