London Stock Exchange CEO Alexander Justham told the Investor Forum that the LSE Group sees tremendous future in Sri Lanka. “We see a tremendous future for collaboration between the London Stock Exchange, our capital markets and Sri Lanka and our support is to help further facilitate and build on that connection from a broader London capital market perspective,” Justham told the London Investor Forum of CSE-SEC. “What is the importance of this Forum, from the perspective of the LSE and the broader London investment community? Well, we come into it from a very unique standpoint; we have invested in Sri Lanka since 2009 and we have been partnering with them for over five years, we own a significant technology company there (in Sri Lanka),”  the CEO said, referring to MillenniumIT. “There has been tremendous demand for the meetings where nearly half of the participants have already begun their meetings with companies and this is a very clear indictor of the level of interest in Sri Lanka,” Justham added.
