People’s Bank dedicates March to May to support women

Below-lead-2-People To commemorate International Women’s Day, People’s Bank has declared the duration from 1 March to 31 May, as the ‘Vanitha Vasana Savings Trimester’.

This period extended amazing offers to Vanitha Vasana account holders.

To commemorate this, a ceremony was held at the Arcade Independence Square. At the event, gifts and certificates were given out to Vanitha Vasana account holders including Angela Jayatissa who was the Sri Lankan representative at the recently concluded Miss Tourism Sri Lanka International. Amongst the felicitated were prominent sports women who were medal winners at South Asian Games 2016.

This occasion was graced by People’s Bank Chairman Hemasiri Fernando as well as People’s Bank Head of Marketing and Research Deepal Abeysekara, People’s Bank Deputy General Manager (Retail Banking) Renuka Jayasinghe and People’s Bank Assistant General Manager – Marketing Yugani Mendis.
