Dynamic, award winning startup leader joins rapidly growing Sri Lankan startup Emojot to take company to new levels
Emojot Inc., a client engagement platform for real-time analysis of customer perceptions, announced that Michael Grabham has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America, operating out of Emojot’s Galvanize, Pioneer Square, Seattle location.
Michael Grabham is a startup and new market leader. He has been working around the internet since 1996 and has started five companies over the past 20 years. He launched his first company with a partner, Media Focus Inc., at the age of 28 and sold it three years later after more than tripling the annual revenues. He has led several companies, from a regional telecommunications company ($14M annual sales) to a wireless application startup called Wireless Realty.

He will be focusing on finding clients, strategic partners and of course getting feedback from users to improve our product.›
Grabham›s multiple roles in sales, business development, marketing and design over the years have enabled him to be a driving force in revenue generation. He has managed administrative, creative, engineering and sales teams throughout his career and has raised money, negotiated several acquisitions and developed overall strategy for all of his companies. He is a persistent problem solver. Grabham won the award for the ‹Best Startup Grind Director of the Year› in February 2016, during the Startup Grind Global Conference held in San Francisco.
In his spare time he runs the Seattle Chapter of Startup Grind for entrepreneurs. He also recently launched a TV show, «Start IT Seattle» to help those with phenomenal ideas start their own companies. He interviews founders, funders and experts about the tools and proven methods used to grow successful startups in the Pacific Northwest. Grabham and his wife launched ‹Survive the Streets› in 1999 to help the homeless in Seattle and are looking for ways to do it in other cities in the US.
