US trade delegation meets Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce

The US Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) delegation met leading executives from the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The participants represented a diversity of sectors, including gems, Ayurvedic and herbal-based products, garments and hospitality. Assistant US Trade Representative for Central and South Asia Michael Delaney (right) discussed various strategies to help find US-based partners for these women entrepreneurs, including a proposed business-to-business event focused on small and medium companies.
