100th RCGC Club Championship 2021: Yannik in the lead

Youngster Yannik Kumara was in sparkling form at the 100th Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), which was worked off last weekend in Colombo. Yannik was closely followed by another sensational golfer, Sachin de Silva, who is standing at second position only a point behind.

Another youngster, 13-year-old Reshan Algama too made it to the top 16, which was noteworthy as he is the youngest in the event.

The pre-quarter finals will be worked off on 2 December at RCGC.

The top 16 finishers are in order:

Yannik Kumara, Sachin de Silva, Nirekh Tejwani, Husni Uwise, Kushal Johnpillai, Rusi Captain, Ravindra S. Wijeguneratne, Levon Niyarepola, Chanaka Perera, Sudath Kumara, Manjula Chandrasoma, Rajeev Rajapakse, Mahela Jayawardena, Reshan Algama, Shamal Perera and Chandana Gunasekera.
