100th RCGC Club Championship Defending champion Yannik through to semi-finals

Defending champion Yannik Kumara advanced to the semi-final of the 100th RCGC Club Championship when he overcame Chanaka Perera 2/1. 

Meanwhile in another encounter where the youngest of the event, 13 year old, Reshan Algama gave a good display of himself where the much fancied Rusi Captain was stretched to the maximum. At last the experience of Captain took him through to the semi-finals.

In the other two quarter finals Husni Uwise overcame Rajeeve Rajapakse while Chandana Gunasekera got the better of Sudath Kumara.

Meanwhile in the Ladies Silver Cup Niloo Jayathilake received a walk over while Kaya Daluwatte got the better of Arika Wickremasinghe.
