10th HARFA Rugby Tournament at Racecourse

The HARFA (Hisham Abdeen Rugby Football Association) is to celebrate its 10th anniversary with the annual rugby tournament involving 76 teams in various age groups – Under-8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18 and Under-21, plus an Open and Over-40 veterans event – featuring Sevens and Tens at the Racecourse Grounds in Reid Avenue today and tomorrow.

Kick-off is scheduled at 8 a.m.

Sri Lanka A and B division players will not be eligible for the Open tournament. HARFA’s patron is Jan C. Vlaskamp (France). He coached the Sri Lanka Army Rugby team in 1977 and coached one of the French clubs in Division 1 back in France.
