13 teams vie for inaugural Travel Trade Futsal 5-a-side Soccer Championships

The latest addition to the Travel Trade Sports Club Multi Sports events calendar, the Futsal 5-a-side Soccer Championships 2017, sponsored by Viluxur Holidays, will take place on 16 July at the Futsal World Indoor Courts, from 9.00 a.m. 

The inaugural tournament has attracted thirteen teams, namely  Amja Travels, Avani Bentota, Cinnamon Grand Colombo  (two teams), Ditethelm Travels, Emirates, Galadari Hotel, Hilton Colombo Residence, Luxe Asia, The Kingsbury, Viluxur Holidays and Walkers Tours (2 teams). 

The special awards on offer are for the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament and the Most Promising Player of the tournament. 

The official sponsorship handover took place on Wednesday, 12 July at Ramada Colombo at 5.30 p.m. where Viluxur Holidays Managing Director Shafraz Fazley presented the package to Travel Trade Sports Club President Prabath Harshakumar. Others present at the event were the two Directors of Viluxur Holidays, Cammy Gunasekera and Trevin Reid, TTSC General Secretary Anushka Perera and Sports Events Coordinator Tyrone Perera.
