Fourteen-year-old Colombo International School (CIS), Colombo golfing sensation Reshan Algama was in top form accounting for the Monthly Medal at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) which took place at their golf course in Borella recently.
He was in peak form over taking some big names where more than 200 golfers teed off at this monthly medal event. Reshan Algama ended on top followed by Noordeen Sethwal pushing Chanaka Perera to third place in the top division.
Young, upcoming incredible and hard working 14-year-old top-class golfer Algama had one par gross score to win the A division and to score the overall lowest gross score (72). Reshan, a Sri Lankan Golf National development squad player, who started golf at the tender age of five years, was in top form with lightning speed shots with solid accuracy. He played consistent golf with three birdies in tandem as well.
In Division 2, Javahn Sathasivam ended on top with 69 winning on count back while the third place was won by Huang Haimin in Division 3.
