18th Blue and Gold Hockey from today

The 18th Blue and Gold Hockey Sevens will be worked off today (12 August) and tomorrow at the Reid Avenue. This tournament is organised by Royal College Hockey Club.

This tournament which commenced in 1990’s was stopped in early part of 2000. This tournament will take place after a lapse of 4 years. In total more than 60 school teams will participate in total in Boys and Girls segments.

Rajans will defend the Boys title while Seethadevi Girls from Central Hills will defend their Girls title after they both won in the last tournament in 2019. Day 1 (12 Aug) will be the group stages and on the final day (13 Aug) knock out stages will be worked off.
