Chamari Athapaththu will lead Sri Lanka Women in the series against India

Sri Lanka has retained 12 of the 15 players that toured Pakistan last month for the upcoming Women’s T20I and ODI series against India.
A 19-member squad with Chamari Athapaththu as captain was picked for the two series that will be played against India at Dambulla and at Pallekele.
Imesha Dulani, Prasadani Weerakkody and Sachini Nisansala have been left out of the team that toured Pakistan, while eight players have been added to the squad extending it by four to 19.
The additional players are Vishmi Gunaratne, Malsha Shehani, Rashmi de Silva, Hansima Karunaratne, Kaushani Nuthyangana, Sathya Sandeepani and Tharika Sewwandi. Rashmi de Silva and Kaushani Nuthyangana are uncapped.
The series opens in Dambulla on 23 June at Dambulla with the first of three T20Is which will be followed by three ODIs at Pallekele.
