The 19th Annual Royal-Thomian hockey encounter played for the Orville Abeynaike Memorial Trophy on 10 November at the Astro Turf.
The Thomians won the match last year after 10 years. The tally reads as eight wins for the Thomians, six wins for Royal and four games ending in a draw. There will be matches played – an Under-16 encounter, an Old Boys clash for the Nihal Nilaweera Memorial Trophy and the 1st XI for the Orville Abeynaike Memorial Trophy.
