20th AmCham-FedEx Express Golf Tournament to tee off at RCGC on 29 Sept.

The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Sri Lanka and Mountain Hawk Express (MHE) – licensee of FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, in Sri Lanka - yesterday announced that the AmCham-FedEx Express Golf Tournament will take place at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) on 29 September 2019. 

Mountain Hawk Express will serve as the official title sponsor for the fifth consecutive year.

The tournament is set to be played to an individual Stableford format, with players teeing off from different holes, starting at 7.00 a.m. The tournament is expected to attract a large number of golfers from both the AmCham and RCGC memberships. This tournament has become very popular among Sri Lanka’s golfing community.

“The AmCham-FedEx Express Golf Tournament is the Chamber’s premier and most eagerly anticipated sporting event on our calendar. We are honoured to once again have Mountain Hawk Express, licensee of FedEx Express, as our official title sponsor, further accentuating the wonderful relationship we share with them. They are also one of AmCham’s longstanding members, which makes this collaboration even more special,” stated AmCham Sri Lanka Executive Director Nuzreth Jalaldeen.

The tournament will feature a specialty jazz brunch for participants, as well as AmCham members and Mountain Hawk Express guests, followed by an awards ceremony once the round of play is completed.
