31st Singer MCA Super Premier League kicks off today

The 31st Singer MCA Super Premier League 50 over tournament is set to commence today, with the first round of league matches being played at four venues.

The Singer – MCA Super Premier League will comprise of a 50 over tournament followed by a T20 tournament.

Eight teams namely, Hayleys ‘A’, Citizens Development Bank ‘A’, Mode Engineering, Fairfirst Insurance, BBK Partnership, Maliban Biscuits ‘A’, Sri Lanka Cricket Under-19 and Hatton National Bank ‘A’ will vie for the top spot in the Mercantile Cricket Association’s top tournament.

It is encouraging to see Sri Lanka Cricket provide the national Under-19 squad the opportunity to gain experience as well as prove their prowess against teams that comprise of many top ranking players in the local cricketing arena.
