41st Mercantile Rugby 7s in November

The 41st Mercantile Rugby “Sevens” will take place from 18 to 20 November at the CR&FC grounds, Longdon Place.

Entries are invited from all Mercantile Rugby Football Association affiliated firms, closing on 8 November 2011.

Entry forms could be obtained from Chris Ferdinands (Ceylinco Insurance), Prasanna Silva   (Sampath Bank), Romesh de Livera (HNB / Rajagiriya) and Shanaka Fernando (Metropolitan Computers).

In 2010, 40 teams participated, MAS Holdings winning the “Cup” , Access Group winning the  “Plate”,  Commercial Bank  winning the “Bowl”  and  W. Karunaratne & Co. winning the “Shield”.
