A five-member panel headed by Retd. Supreme Court Judge Justice Nimal Dissanayaka has been appointed to inquire into the alleged misconduct of three Sri Lanka cricketers – Kusal Mendis, Danushka Gunathilaka and Niroshan Dickwella – during the tour of England.

The three players had breached the bio-secular bubble and wandered on the streets of Durham ahead of the first ODI and were sent home on disciplinary grounds and suspended from all forms of cricket until the completion of the inquiry.

The Panel comprises of Retd. Judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka Justice Nimal Dissanayaka, Attorney-at-Law Panduka Keerthinanda, Attorney-at-Law Asela Rekawa, Attorney-at-Law Uchitha Wickremasinghe and Major General (Retd.) M.R.W. de Zoysa.
