The Women’s Doubles championship was won by Shashika Sandamali and Rebecca Dalrine of SL Army and Mixed Doubles championship went to Nishantha Fernando of SL Navy and Nipuni Dilrukshi of Mahamaya Balika, Nugegoda while Veteran championship titled was won by E.A.D. Indrajith of YMCA, Fort of the 52nd National Carrom Championships

This tournament was conducted under six events, namely Men’s Single, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Single, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Veterans, from 7 March at the Carrom Federation Headquarters with the participation over 400 players islandwide

Preliminary rounds of Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles events commence from 14 March and final rounds will be held on 28 March. Due to the electricity failure on 7 March, scheduled Men’s Double matches for the day had to be postponed and those matches will be held on 29 March at 9 a.m. at the same venue.

The due prize awarding ceremony of the year 2019 will be held at 4 p.m.  on 22 March and awardees are invited by the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka. The awardees of last Nationals, Grand Slam, Junior Nationals and President’s Cup are hereby cordially invited.

•Women’s Doubles

Champion: Shashika Sandamali and Rebecca Dalrine of SL Army (25/15, 16/25, 25/20)   

Runners up: Joseph Roshita of SL Navy and Tharushi Himahansika of Mahamaya Balika,

Third place: Maduwanthi Gunadasa and M. Chitradevi of SL Army (25/15, 03/25, 25/10)

•Mixed Doubles

Champion: Nishantha Fernando of SL Navy and Nipuni Dilrukshi of Mahamaya Baliaka, 

  Nugegoda (25/0, 12/25, 25/11)                            

Runners up: 

Joseph Dilan and Detuni Nomaya of SL Army   

Third Place:  Shaheed Hilmy of Royal College and Joseph Roshita of SL Navy (25/24, 25/0) 

•Veteran’s Single

Champion: 

E.A.D. Indrajith of YMCA, Fort (22/25, 25/18, 25/16)

Runners up: K.G.S.J. Prasad of Kandy SC

Third Place : R.A.J Wickramasinghe of SLTB (22/25, 25/15, 25/08)
