6th Edition of Thurstan vs Isipathana Annual Golf Tournament tomorrow

The 6th Annual Golfing encounter between Thurstan College and Isipathana College will take place on 12 March at the  Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) golf course with the Tee off at 7.00 a.m.

This encounter is played for Neomal Fernando Challenge Trophy will see both teams having two wins under their accounts while the last one being a tie.

Thurstan will be led by the evergreen golfer Milinda Ratnayake who will have in his ranks Noel Joseph, Sumedha Amerasinghe, Harendra de Silva, Chaminda Prabath, Sunil Jayakody Pandula Kuruppu, Bingumal Thewathanthri, Chamikara Wijesinghe, Thushara Rupesinghe and Lakshman Sumathipala.

Isipathana College, famous for its rugby football, will see Ravi Liyanage leading the outfit. Ravi who led the National University in Rugby and later played for CR and FC. 

He will have Anura Somaratne, Brig Nanda Hathurusinghe, Anura Wimalaratne, Mervin Preena , Roshana Samaranayake, Kishan Serasinghe, Chamara Dayararne, Ajith Kulasinghe, Faiz Omar, Laki Wickremasinghe, Saman Manchanayake, Neroy Marso, Himal Randhima and Sooriya Perera.

This year Green Machine will miss out on top class players such as Manjula Lanerolle, Majid Awn and Gayan Amerasinghe, all away overseas.
