11 applications received; time extended for more
Sri Lanka Cricket said yesterday that Executive Committee has appointed a panel headed by Ranjith Fernando and comprising Mohan de Silva, Nishantha Ranatunga, Nuski Mohamed, Sanath Jayasuriya, Ashley de Silva and Jerome Jayaratne, in order to take the process forward.
SLC also said it has received 11 applications for the post of National Head Coach of which eight were from overseas and three from Sri Lanka.
Further, it was observed by the Executive Committee during the meeting held today that there were several other interested parties who were deprived of submitting their applications due to time constraints.
“Therefore, it was requested by the Executive Committee to explore the possibility of obtaining applications from the interested parties prior to evaluating the applications received,” SLC added.
