99th Colombo Tennis Championships finalist found

The Super A Grade Colombo Championships in its 99th year saw the finalists for the girls under 12,14 and 16 come thru relatively unstirred as top 2 seeds in each event entered the finals. 4 0f the 5 finalists reached the finals without dropping a set.

In the girls under 12 semi - final Neyara Weerawansa beat Savini Jayasuriya 6/2 6/4 and Anika Seneviratne beat Samadi Jayasinghe 6/4 6/1. Anika also entered the under 14 final beating Prabudhi Perera 6/2 6/4 and will meet top seed Janali Manamperi who defeated Sethara Ambawatte 6/0 6/0. In the girls under 16 Semi - Final top seed Medira Samarasinghe defeated Rukshana Abdeen 6/1 6/1 and will meet Rukshika Wijesooriya seeded no 2 for the title.
