The 32nd Outdoor Sports festival of the Pharma Promoters Association (PPA) was held recently at the MCA grounds on a grand scale, with all leading pharmaceutical companies in attendance and a record number of teams participating in the day’s cricket, netball and athletic contests.
The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was Pradeep Edward, who is a Past President of the PPA and the Chief Executive Officer of Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics Ltd. He is also the Secretary General of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation and the Immediate Past President of SLIM.
The Pharma Promoters Association was chartered in 1986. During its 33 years of existence, the association has been successful in fostering a true sense of unity among the pharmaceutical marketing fraternity, staying in line with the vision of fostering goodwill and fellowship through sports, social events and knowledge-sharing activities. The scope of the association has broadened throughout the past few years alongside the hard work and enthusiasm of past patrons, presidents, executive committees and member companies who have worked in a responsible manner to ensure its future continuity. The members can proudly claim that they belong to a valuable association, which has been in existence for 33 years.
The Project Chairperson was Incumbent Treasurer Mahinda Jayasundara of Astron Ltd.
