The Ceylon Motor Sports Club (CMSC) has announced the return of Sri Lanka’s most historic motorsport event, the ACBT 91st Mahagastota Festival Of Speed 2025, set to take place on 5 and 6 April in the picturesque hills of Nuwara Eliya.

Established in 1934, the Mahagastota Hill Climb holds the distinction of being Sri Lanka’s oldest motorsport event, drawing generations of racing enthusiasts and competitors eager to take on its demanding uphill course. This year’s edition promises another exhilarating showcase of skill, precision, and high-octane competition as riders and drivers push their machines to the limit on the legendary track.

The Mahagastota Hill Climb has long been a proving ground for Sri Lanka’s finest racing talent. The course, with its steep inclines, tight corners, and ever-changing mountain weather, offers a unique challenge that separates the best from the rest. The ACBT 91st Mahagastota Festival Of Speed 2025 will feature motorcycles taking to the track on 5 April, while modern racing cars will battle for the fastest time on 6 April.
