AVI sponsors national volleyball teams at South Asian Games 2019

AVI is one of the chief sponsors of the men’s and women’s national volleyball teams - currently representing Sri Lanka at the South Asian Games which will run from 1-10 December in Kathmandu, Nepal - and has provided all players with the brand’s top quality socks.

Dilina Sudaraka, P.A.D.A. Dilshan Perera, M. Malith Dinindu Chamara, B. Lakmal, N. Karunarathna, P. Fernando, M. Fernando, A. Lakmal and I. Sagara. 

The team officials are Team Manager K. Rathnamudali, Head Coach Gonzalo Torres, Assistant Coach Saman Chandranath, Trainer Susiri Kumara and Physiotherapist Shalika Rajapakshe. 

The women’s team was captained by Ashani Jayathunga and included K. Wasana Perera (Vice-Captain), Apsara Senewirathna, Kavisha Perera, S. Senarathna, Hashini Senarathna , K. Wasanthi, Sewwandi Gunawardana, G. Kausalya, A. Sandamali, W. Thaksala, K. Charuka, H. Sanjeewani and W. Weerakoon. The team officials were Team Manager Chandana Wijesinghe, Head Coach Cabrera Roberto, Assistant Coach Janaka Indrajith, Trainer Amila Gamage and Physiotherapist Gishan Lakmal.
