The Access Group announces its sponsorship of the Monthly Medal, a prestigious golfing event to be held on 30 and 31 August at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.

This event will bring together 225 golfers for two days of competitive play and camaraderie. As a prominent conglomerate in Sri Lanka, the Access Group has committed to sponsoring a Monthly Medal at the Royal Colombo Golf Club for the next three years. This partnership is a testament to the company’s dedication to community engagement and support for the golfing community.

The sponsorship of the Access Group Monthly Medal serves as an opportunity to involve various companies under the Access Group umbrella, including Access Engineering, Marina Square, Ninewells Hospital, Sathosa Motors, Access Motors, Access Eco Electric, Access Logistics, Access Lifestyle, Horizon Campus, and Access Natural Water, in the tournament’s organisation.

The Monthly Medal is a highly anticipated event at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, drawing seasoned golfers and enthusiasts to demonstrate their skills in a friendly yet competitive environment. Participants can look forward to winning attractive prizes, and there will be gifts for all players, along with exciting activities for non-golfers. The event will culminate in an awards night on Saturday 24 August, promising an evening of entertainment for members and their guests.

“We are excited to partner with the Royal Colombo Golf Club for the Monthly Medal and look forward to a fantastic turnout,” said Access International Managing Director Shamal Perera. “My father, Access Group Chairman Sumal Perera has been a member of the RCGC for over 30 years, and I have enjoyed playing golf there for over 20 years. We felt it was important to give back to the club that has been a significant part of our lives.”

“This event reflects our values of excellence, integrity, and social responsibility,” added Perera. “We are eager to see a successful tournament and wish all participants the best of luck.”
