Ahamed Zumri heads Colombo Hockey Association

Former Isipathana hockey player Ahamed Zumri was elected as the President of the Colombo Hockey Association (CHA) at their 66th Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place in Colombo recently.

One unique feature of this committee is that a girl was appointed to the committee. Former Visakian and national hockey player and veteran banker Vindhya Jayasuriya was elected as the Assistant Secretary of CHA. She led her school hockey team in 1981 and later presented the national outfit for many years.
