At the short breather Army led 12/0.

Army played a better brand of rugby settling early in the game but after the turn around Air Force hit back with back to back tries to pull it off.

Army SC scored their tries through Kaveen Perera, Lasantha Kumara and Mohamed Irfan. Isuru Medagedera convertedtwo2 of the tries while for Air Force their tries were scored by Parakrama Ratnayake, Darshana Dabare and Saraka Werella (two). Nuwan Perera was on target with two of the try conversions plus a penalty.

Referee was Ishanka Abeykoon.
