The Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club got the better of the Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club by 29 points (4 tries, 3 conversions, 1 penalty) to 24 points (4 tries, 2 conversions) in their Mastercard Inter-Club Rugby encounter, which was worked off at Welisara on Friday.

At the short breather, Air Force led 19/12.

This was Air Force SC’s second win for the season, beating CH & FC earlier.

Meanwhile, Sailors are yet to register a win this season.

Navy scored their tries through Senura Peries, Isuru Perera, Hashan Madumadawa, and Amith Madushanka. Skipper Thilina Weerasinghe made two conversions.

Air Force scored their tries through Manuka Perera, Shameka Kaushan (2), and Ishara Madushan. Gayantha Iddamalgoda, who had a grand game in kicking, put over three try conversions and a solitary penalty.
