Allianz supports Sri Lanka Water Polo teams at Panasonic Asia Pacific Tournament

Allianz Lanka supported the Sri Lanka Water Polo teams as their Official Travel Insurance Partner, during their return to the 22nd Panasonic Asia Pacific Water Polo Tournament, after a seven-year hiatus.

Hosted by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association, this thrilling event took place in Hong Kong from 11 to 13 August 2023. Allianz Lanka’s travel insurance products provide comprehensive insurance coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances whilst travelling overseas.

This year’s Tournament featured six teams in the men’s category and four teams in the women’s category, vying for supremacy. Men’s Captain Shehan Dassanayake and Women’s Captain Samaakhya Gajanayake held the leadership reins of the Sri Lankan teams. Both teams consisted of young and dynamic members from across the Island, united by their passion and dedication to the sport.
