Amal International School Annual Sports Meet

Amal International School Annual Sports Meet was held at the Havelock Grounds, under the patronage of Principal of the school M. Shazuli.

Speaker of Parliament Karu Jayasuriya was the Chief Guest and Mujibur Rahuman MP was the Guest of Honour. 

The Amalians from Grade One to Advance Level classes participated in the sports meet through the houses of Arafath, Arqam, Azeez and Aqsa. The sports meet featured numerous athletic events such as 100m flat race, 4X100m relay and many more. There was ample support for all four teams and the support the participants received from their houses was very satisfying. The drill display was beautifully done and it pumped the crowd up. The school ground was colourful with flags swaying in the light blue sky with the house colours cheering the respective houses. Chairman of the Board of Directors Ashroff Rumi presented mementoes to the Chief Guest Karu Jayasuriya and Guest of Honour Mujibur Rahuman at this event. Naufhan Nawaz Captain of the Arqam House received champion house award from the Chief Guest.

Centre for Islamic Studies Chairman M.H.M. Illyas, Founder Chairman of the School M.C.M. Zarook, Members of the Board of Directors of Amal International School, Vice Principals, teachers, parents, students and old boys were present.
