Ananda Balika Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Netball Tournament

The Old Girls’ Association (OGA) of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya, Maligakanda, Colombo organised its Netball Tournament among the old girls for the fifth consecutive year at the school premises recently. Players from the four houses – Meththa, Karuna, Muditha and Upekkha participated. 

In the final were Meththa and Muditha, and Meththa became the champion for the fifth consecutive year.

Champion House Captain Jayathri Upendra received the Champion award from Chief Guest Sports Info Chairman/Managing Director Thilan Rangana and Runners-Up House Captain Ruchira Yapa Abeywardena received an award from Past Teacher Dula De Silva.

Best Player of the Tournament Chamila Senevirathne from Muditha House and Best Shooter Captain Jayathri Upendra from Meththa House received their respective awards from Project Organiser Anuja De Silva and OGA Member Shiromi Dilrukshi. 

OGA Vice President Ranoja De Silva, Manjula De Silva and Secretary Ramya Priyanganie were also present at the awards ceremony.
