Ananda Balika Vidyalaya holds OGA Netball Tournament

The Old Girls’ Association of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya, Maligakanda, Colombo organised its Netball Tournament recently for the fourth consecutive year at the school ground recently. Players from four houses, Meththa, Karuna, Muditha and Upekkha, participated.

In the final were Meththa and Upekkha and Meththa house became the champion for the fourth consecutive year.

Captain of the Champion team Shiromi Wijerathne received the Champion award from distinguished old girl Rohini Yapa and Captain of the Runners-Up house Nadee Kumarage received an award from Inoka Gallage.

Best Player of the tournament from Meththa house Udeni Nissanka received an award from Advisor of the OGA Ruchira Yapa Abeywardena and the Best Shooter award was received by Jayanthi Upendra of Metthta house from Udayangani Senarathne.

OGA Vice Presidents Manjula De Silva, Inoka Gallege, Secretary Nadee Tharange and members were also present at the awards ceremony.
