Annual Kenneth M. De Lanerolle Trophy Four-in-a-row Kingswood

The Kingswood College football outfit under Ravishan Rupasinghe, beat Wesley College 1/0 in their Under-20 football encounter which was played for Kenneth M. De Lanerolle Trophy at the Race Course ground recently. 

The winning goal was scored by Umar Sherif. The outfit was coached by Mohamed Noordeen.

Kingswoodians are leading the tally with 4/0 in the series.

The Under-10 encounter played for the H.S. Jayatissa Memorial Trophy was won by the Randles Hill school 1/0. The Under-12 encounter played for the Nalaka Weerakkody Challenge Trophy ended in a nil/all draw. In the end, the game was decided on a penalty shootout which saw Wesley winning this segment.

The Under-14 event was also won by Wesley 4/0. This was played for the OKSC Challenge Trophy. The Under-16 event played for the Esanka Jayasooriya Memorial Trophy was won by Kingswood 2/1.
